The Hanover Town Council accepted the renovation bid for the work on the theatre and community hall. Renovations will bring the building up to code, with hopefully, enough left over to really do the stage up well with curtains, lighting grids and all the 'stuff' that helps to make theatre, dance and music happen. Fundraising is a necessity for this!
Unfortunately the finish date looks to be about June, 2022, which throws a spanner into the works for all user groups. HCP will have to re-group and figure out what we are going to do going forward. We still have ongoing expenses to cover and no money coming in.
We would like to mount Little Red Riding Hood, the panto, in December, government willing, and make some decisions regarding the spring session.
