Corey Leno, a wonderful man within the community at large and an asset as an actor to the Hanover Community Players, passed away recently.
He first worked with HCP in our production of the Nutcracker where he played the Grandfather, with his son Nick in a lead role. Later he entertained us with his singing and acting as Danny O'Riley, a nerd who finds himself and wins the girl in our Burger Town musical comedy production.
Corey again graced our stage with his talents in the role of the Scarecrow in the broadway musical, the Wizard of Oz where he entertained audiences with his fluidity of motion and character portrayal.
Working at Regal Rexnord in Hanover, Corey presented, on behalf of the company's employees, a financial donation that was extremely welcome as we came out of Covid.
He was a friend, colleague and actor, but most of all, a husband and father.
Corey will be missed by all. Rest in peace, Corey.
