The audition monologues and songs are now posted for Oliver! Information is under Auditions and subtitled Upcoming Auditions (gives characters) AND Monologues for requirements. You'll also notice another subtitle Accents.
We are not insisting that cast members have an accent but you could try it out and see if you can do one!
The audition songs are readily found on Youtube for you to practice. You won't sing the whole song (16 bars) as we hope to have each person audition in five minute intervals.
It doesn't matter if you have experience in singing or theatre, if you can sing Happy Birthday on key, you'er a singer; if you can move in beat with music, you can dance!
We'll teach you, so put the dates May 18th and 19th on your calendar, look at the characters and practise a song and monologue. You'll be ready to go!
